Based within Student Recruitment Marketing and Admissions, we are seeking a highly motivated and creative marketing professional to join our subject recruitment marketing team to provide maternity leave cover for up to 12 months from May 2025. The role will specifically support student recruitment marketing for the Schools of Nursing and Advanced Practice, Psychology and Public and Allied Health, however you will need to be flexible to support with the work of the wider team as required.

Educated to degree level, you will have a proven track record of developing, implementing and evaluating recruitment marketing plans and have an understanding of higher education and student recruitment.

The role encompasses a broad range of marketing activity across the prospective student journey including developing web content, supporting recruitment events – in person and online, developing content and promotional materials for events and social media, email marketing as well as the planning and delivery of recruitment campaigns across multiple platforms.

You will have experience of developing print and digital assets, and of working with agencies and external providers to produce engaging video content and photography. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent eye for detail and be a creative problem-solver.

With strong communication, IT and organisation skills you will require the ability to build effective relationships and advise academic colleagues as well as multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
