Post-doctoral Research Fellow (Fixed term for 8 months)

The School of Engineering seeks to appoint a post-doctoral Research Fellow to work on a research project of 8 months funded by Innovate UK through the UK-Germany Bilateral Collaborative R&D Scheme. This is part of a joint project led by industrial partner Crypto Quantique Ltd (CQ). The project is to improve the performance of Physically Unclonable Functions (PUF) for hardware security of IoTs. Your main duty will be carrying out experimental tests on the PUF chips supplied by CQ, modelling and analysing the data, and presenting the results.
You should hold a PhD degree and have an in-depth knowledge in microelectronic devices and PUF. In addition, you should have relevant experience in device testing. Experience in presenting results at meetings are essential. You should be able to work effectively as a team member with academics, industrial partners, and research students.
