Lecturer in Simulation and Clinical Skills

The Faculty of Health works collaboratively across a range of health disciplines to meet the demands of health and the community. We work closely with a wide range of both public and private sector organisations to ensure our students have the knowledge, skills and experience to meet the demands of the increasingly challenging health sector.
We are now looking for an experienced and motivated clinical professional and educator, to join our dynamic Simulation Team within the Faculty of Health, Innovation, Technology, and Science. This exciting role involves collaborating with students, academics, clinical technicians, and simulation facilitators to design and deliver high-quality simulation-based learning across various healthcare programmes. You will play a key role in developing and implementing engaging simulated practice learning placements, as well as supporting more broadly with simulation-based education development, and contributing to research opportunities in the field.
Applicants must be currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold a degree in a relevant subject.
A recognised teaching qualification for Higher Education and experience in curriculum and programme design are desirable. If you have a background in Adult and/or Mental Health Nursing we would encourage you to apply.
