The School of Psychology at LJMU seeks to appoint two new lecturers, one in developmental psychology and one in forensic psychology to contribute to our BPS accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes [See job description for specific details of roles and responsibilities].

We are a large, dynamic department with an excellent reputation for both teaching and research. Our portfolio includes BPS-accredited undergraduate programmes and a wide range of postgraduate taught courses, including Health Psychology. In REF 2021, the School was ranked 37th nationally for research power and was the fourth largest submission from a Post-92 institution. Our staff currently hold substantial research grants from major funders including; Wellcome, NIHR, ESRC, BA, NHS Trusts, and charities. Since REF2021, we have produced over 800 publications and received more than 6,000 citations, reflecting the value and reach of our scholarly output.

The School operates a hybrid working policy and postgraduate supervision is delivered both face to face and online.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with research/applied experience, dedicated to providing an outstanding student experience who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help facilitate our continued development and growth.

The School of Law and Justice Studies delivers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that sit within four disciplines – Criminology, Criminal Justice, Policing Studies and Law. A candidate to deliver high quality teaching and student assessment activities, contributing to the planning, design, and development of modules, programmes, and curriculum enhancements. To establish an independent research portfolio aligned with the School/Department’s research priorities, and to engage in relevant research, professional practice, and knowledge exchange activities. The role will also include contributing to administrative responsibilities as required.

The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences is at the forefront of higher education in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Forensic Science, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Science, and related areas. A candidate to deliver high quality teaching and lead associated student assessment activities. Contribute to the planning, design and development of modules, programmes and curriculum enhancements. Engage in relevant scholarship, research and professional and knowledge-exchange activities, and undertake associated administrative duties. 

We seek to recruit a UK registered healthcare practitioner to join the team which delivers our GPhC-accredited MPharm course. The successful candidate will assist in teaching and curriculum development in pharmacy and clinical skills
