Senior Lecturer in Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner 0.2 FTE

The School of Psychology offers a range of programmes in Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy and training for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners from levels 4-8.
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in low intensity, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) training on a 0.2 fte basis. We require a highly motivated individual with a PWP qualification and significant post qualification experience as a PWP who is currently working in an NHS Talking Therapy Service to join our established team.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to join our motivated team and at a significant time for PWPs with the new curriculum and potential for growth in the delivery of specialist courses, e.g. for Long Term Conditions.
We are a large department with an excellent reputation for both teaching and research. Our portfolio includes BPS-accredited undergraduate programmes and a wide range of postgraduate taught courses, including Health Psychology. In REF 2021, the School was ranked 37th nationally for research power and was the fourth largest submission from a Post-92 institution.
Our staff currently hold substantial research grants from major funders including; Wellcome, NIHR, ESRC, BA, NHS Trusts, and charities. Since REF2021, we have produced over 800 publications and received more than 6,000 citations, reflecting the value and reach of our scholarly output.
