We couldn’t exist anywhere else and have shaped the city in which we belong. Working with the people of Liverpool to improve lives and support communities is at the heart of why we were founded and why we exist today.

Liverpool Business School is seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the role of Professor of Marketing and/or Marketing Analytics. You will be expected to lead on the continued development of programmes in the related subject area to help ensure that the School aims of AACSB accreditation and TEF Gold are achieved.  In addition, you will be expected to provide leadership and development to support scholarship and research for academics in this area.

You must demonstrate a significant track record of producing high-quality publications in leading journals, media, or other relevant platforms within the fields of marketing and/or marketing analytics. Additionally, you should have a strong record of delivering innovative, high-impact teaching and learning experiences that are recognised on an international scale.

The direction of management education is dynamic in terms of market demand, subject specialism, mode of delivery, pedagogy, etc., and the portfolio of programmes offered within and beyond the School will therefore need to respond to such changes. The post of Professor within the Liverpool Business School involves working closely with the Director of School, the Head of Research and the School Subject Leaders to contribute to the development of and operationalisation of change, particularly in the areas of teaching and learning and/or research strategy.  You will also be expected to work closely with the Marketing Programme Leaders and staff.

You will have a strong national and international profile and an evidenced ability of providing leadership at your subject level.

Informal enquiries may be made to the Director of Liverpool Business School, Professor Adam Shore email: A.P.Shore@ljmu.ac.uk

In return, we offer an excellent benefits package including generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, induction and development support as well as family-friendly policies.

This is an exciting time to join the university as we deliver the LJMU Strategy 2030 and its vision of LJMU as an inclusive civic university transforming lives and futures, by placing students at the heart of everything we do.

If you feel that this is the role you have been looking for and your skills and experience can make a real difference at LJMU, we look forward to hearing from you.
