Liverpool Business School enjoys a strong reputation for its growing and vibrant undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with existing local, regional, and international partnerships. As a Business School we are committed to embedding digital literacy, employability, and internationalisation into all of our programmes. Additionally, as signatories to PRME, we have a vibrant community of staff working in this area. We are also very proud of our Business Clinic, which has been established to provide students with the opportunity to undertake a live business consultancy project with an external host organisation. Our Business Clinic works with businesses and organisations from across the Liverpool City Region.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced leader to provide academic leadership in designing and delivering a range of high-quality programmes, with primary responsibility for the Global Executive MBA and other master’s courses offered in the UK and through international partners. This also entails line management responsibilities.
The successful candidate will:
- provide far-sighted academic leadership in the design and day-to-day delivery of high-quality programmes, with a particular focus on leading teaching, learning and assessment for the Global Executive MBA and other master’s programmes e.g. MRes and MBA Top-ups, ensuring effective and innovative approaches are embedded across all provisions
- have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience
- be committed to liaising with businesses and other organisations to connect the research and teaching capability of the School to professional leads.
- have the ability to both manage and lead staff, ensuring an equitable distribution of workload and an individual personal development plan for each person
