Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate)

24-month fixed term post based at the Central Liverpool Primary Care Network (CLPCN) premises in central Liverpool but employed by Liverpool John Moores University. The post holder will be primarily based at CLPCN hub (London Road, Liverpool L5 8JA), with regular travel to other CLPCN sites and LJMU.

Starting salary range - £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience

Plus, a £4,000 travel and personal development budget, as well as management and leadership training provided as part of the KTP. There will be an opportunity within this role to register for a PhD award. 

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of primary care. As the Associate, you will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of a pioneering Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP)-led exercise service. You’ll be supported by leading academics at LJMU and the clinical and management team at Central Liverpool Primary Care Network (CLPCN), while working closely with local communities. The role offers the chance to improve health, wellbeing, and reduce inequalities, while generating evidence that could inform future NHS services and national health policy. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to join a 2-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between Liverpool John Moores University and Central Liverpool Primary Care Network (CLPCN). In this role, you will co-design, deliver, and evaluate an innovative CEP-led exercise service. The first of its kind in the country.
