Catering Assistant

The Catering Team within Liverpool John Moores University’s Campus Services department seek applications for the position of Catering Assistant, working on an annualised hours contract.

We have multiple opportunities available, including –

• Position 1 - working 1236 hours (annualised hours - Fixed term up to 12 months)
• Position 2 - working 1218 hours (annualised hours - permanent)
• Position 3 - working 906 hours (annualised hours - permanent)
• Position 4- working 1,230 hours (annualised hours – permanent)

Your working hours will primarily be between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be based within a retail catering outlet, where duties will include making Barista-style coffee, handling cash, serving customers, performing basic food preparation, and undertaking general housekeeping duties to support the successful operation of the catering outlet, while always complying with brand and food safety standards. You will have previous catering experience, ideally within a branded setting, excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team and display a passion for customer service.
