We are now seeking a talented and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our growing Digital Services and Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of the University’s digital systems and applications, helping to shape innovative solutions that empower students, staff, and researchers across our academic community.
This Associate role within the team is an entry level role, designed to support someone at the early stage of their career, offering opportunities for growth and development
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work as part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality software solutions using modern technologies and agile practices. You’ll gain hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle — from design and development to testing, deployment, and support — while contributing to projects that make a real difference in higher education.
Please note that, due to the salary associated with this position, this post is unlikely to meet the minimum requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. Therefore, the University does not expect to be able to sponsor a visa for this position, except in cases where specific criteria may apply.
